My mom arranged the funnest birthday outing for my grandma & her friend. At Gardner's village in West Jordan there is a quaint, little shop called Protea Cottage. We sat down to an afternoon tea, complete with finger sandwiches, homemade scones and fruit with clotted cream. There is an assortment of hats to choose from & if you bring along your wee ones there are even fun dress-ups they can wear. We were able to try 4 different flavors of tea and relaxed in an environment that encouraged conversation and mirth. It was such a delight! Happy birthday to my dear grandma who turns 82 tomorrow!

That looks like so much fun. I have to ask what kind of tea did you have?
That would be a way fun place to take a little girl.
HOW FUN! I want to take Brooklyn for her birthday or heck maybe even mine :)
It was so fun! We had Rooibos teas. They come in several flavors and are an herbal tea. We had peach, caramel, lemon, and strawberry-kiwi.
Mariah, I love your pictures!
How fun!!! That looks like such a great time for a girl's day out!
