Today's my day. Thirty two years ago at 7:14 am I was born. A whopping 8 lbs. 14 oz. In honor of being around for that long, here are a few things I've learned in those years. I started this list about 9 years ago (this is just a sampling from the master, really long list) as I was ending my mission--it's fun to see what I was learning at different points in my life. Some I've certainly had to learn more than once & others I've forgotten that I learned them :) Here's to life and how happy I am to be here!!
* Listen, instead of trying to solve problems * You can never be too humble * Tell people and thank them for impacting your life * You can't change other people--only yourself * The Lord knows best * Everything always works out * Don't expect others to act how you would in any given situation * Most people enjoy short and sweet and to the point * Learn to forgive yourself * It's never worth to get worked up over anything--it's a waste of energy and it scars your character * Walk with faith and not by sight * If something doesn't seem to be going right, go back to the basics * Live according to God's expectations, not other peoples * Getting out of a comfort zone is painful, but always worth it * Don't stop to view your harvest before you are done * Pray for charity every day * Live life to make others happy and see how your own improves * You need to love yourself before you allow yourself to feel others' love * Children are a pure joy * It's better to go through life trusting and lose once in a while than never trusting and going through life alone * Be happy, many people are watching you * I am good enough, smart enough and just as capable as everyone else * I get ornery and short when I'm tired * You can disagree with someone and still live in peace * Always listen to the spirit * Dreams do come true * Allow the Lord to mold you--don't try to create your own form * Laughing eases any pain * When the spirit is strong, I love everyone * Don't get caught up in the thick of thin things * Bitter people need lots of love * Don't blame others, be responsible for your own mistakes and characteristics * It's best to run away from all feelings of bitterness, unfairness, and self-pity * Sometimes the more effective way is not as fun * Never think that God owes you something * Dream big! * Choose to be happy, after all you are in charge * I see myself differently than most people see me * People are presents from God and he always gives us just what we need * Angels do watch over us *

Hope you had a great Birthday. It is so much fun to be Holiday Babies isn't it? (I'm a groundhog, not quite as cool as you, but I still claim it!) Thanks for the list. What great advice!
Happy Birthday! We're all so LUCKY to have you in our lives. Love your Words of Wisdom I printed them off for myself.
Happy Birthday! You could make a poster out of that and make some money, like the "All I learned in Kindergarten..." thing-
I laughed at "when you're tired, you get ornery and short!"
I will never forget the day you were born. Grandpa had come in the middle of the night. When I woke up he was sitting in the Chair in the dining room. I went to pinch him because he was not wearing green. Then he pulled up his pants and he had green socks on.
I love all the pictures of you. Thanks for sharing all the things that you have learned. What a fun idea to write them all down.
Happy Birthday!!
