I had quite the car adventure the other day. I was coming home from American Fork (about 20 min. away) and my car died in an intersection. Two nice men in a big truck helped me push it to the side of road. I then hooked it up to our battery charger (which we have on hand because unfortunately this car has a history of these types of incidents) & an old man comes from his house to offer his help. Picture this (minus the gun):
Soon I'm on my way and head home. As I turn left after my freeway exit, the car dies again. Two other nice men help me push it across a couple lanes of traffic. They help me charge it again, this time with his truck. The guy was real nice and reminded me of someone famous. Picture this:
I'm not very far from home at this point & go to turn left on my street. Yep, you guessed it. The car dies again. Another man (and by this time my husband had caught up with me) pushed it around the corner & then my nice neighbor gently drives whilst pushing it to our driveway. By this point I was fuming. I was so frustrated with the stupid car that I wanted to scream. I headed in the house and frantically searched for some comfort food. Picture this:

Oh dear, Mariah! What a day! Hope you get the car fixed. Thank goodness for our guardian angels that watch over us and help us!
I'm glad to hear you got home safe. Thank goodness for girl scout cookies. They always brighten my day.
WOW! What a day! I would have been so mad. Glad you found some comfort good in the house. Cookies can always save the day.
I love that picture of Garth and I LOVE those two kinds of Girl Scout cookies. Glad you finally made it home. :)
What a day! I love Girl Scout Cookies. But they remind me of the ones we hid in our house so our boys wouldn't find them. Boyd and I were going to have a midnight snack one night. We couldn't find them. We found out later that the boys found our hiding spot.
We had a car just like that, it was such a PAIN! Every time it rained the roof would leak on top of me too so I'd be soaking wet calling Devin in the pouring rain bawling. Hope it gets fixed soon.
Mariah, I am sorry you had such a bad car day! I had to laugh at the gun-toting man and the screaming children on the bus - such a funny movie. I am glad you had Girl Scout cookies to cheer you up. Yum!
Oh, Mariah!! That is just awful!! I am glad you had some goodies to help you feel better :)
You must really dig old guys and cowboys!
And the thing about those girl scout cookies is there's only like 10 of them in the box so I feel like a total hog when I eat "half the box"!
