It's a Wonderful Life

I am grateful for all the little things that make life so wonderful....indeed some of them are not little at all....I'm grateful for a loving husband who loves to do things for me, all I have to do is ask...I love being a mom & so grateful for Eli who makes life adventurous even if we never leave the house...for good friends who know how to say the right thing and make me feel special...for sisters (all 7 of them) & their ability to make me laugh & for my brother who can make me laugh harder than anyone I know...for a mom & dad that have taught me well & are great examples...for in-laws that would do anything for our family & for giving us hope that we may get pregnant one day...for the gospel of Jesus Christ and my faith in Him...for the young women who I get to work with and their kindness to me...for the time I served as a missionary in Russia, believe it or not 10 yrs. later it still impacts me on a daily basis...for the internet and the ease of shopping or finding information and connecting with friends and family with a simple click of the mouse...for fun hobbies that give me an outlet and a joy in creating...for music and its therapeutic quality...for my time and memories in college (those were the good ol' days LOL)...for my education outside the classroom & my bachelors degree...for repentance and the hope it provides...for a house with a yard & garden...for the opportunity I've had to travel to so many fun places...for all the many creature comforts that I can't imagine living without...for yummy food and finding new things to enjoy at dinner time...for a husband who loves me perfectly for who I am and expects nothing more...for holidays and the chance to gather with family...for post-it notes because my life would fall apart without them...for good health...for our uber-comfy couch that makes it fun to cuddle and watch movies...for Heavenly Father's promises to me...to live in a place where I can enjoy the view of mountains, lakes, valleys, canyons, deserts, farms, cities and call it home...for a home where I can control the temperature...for life and all the lessons we learn along the way...for the thrill I get after a run that was longer or harder than I've done before...for Eli's loud voice that shouts "Mama!" when I come home from being out...and last but certainly not least the little baby that was born in a manger so many years ago who is the source of true peace.

What a fantastic list! Thank you so much for sharing and reminding us all how much we have to be grateful for.

P.S. I love your couch as well. Where did you get it? :)
