At the Salt Lake 1/2 Marathon (2008) my, so much has happened since then.
She encouraged me to study hard and get a scholarship.
She took me to many violin lessons.
She changed all my diapers.
She inspired me to love learning.
She taught me about my Savior Jesus Christ.
She stayed up late to help prepare my award winning science fair project.
She wrote me every week while I was away on a mission.
She took me to endless orthodontist appointments (& listened to me complain. every. time.)
She attended my maturation program & should be inducted into the maturation hall of fame--if there was such a thing. She had to listen to that 8 times!
She slept by my side at the hospital after my horrible car accident.
She introduced me to the arts by taking us to plays and the symphony.
She worked in the yard for hours to prepare it for my dream wedding reception.
She was there when I became a mother.
She's a terrific Nana to my son.
She's done so much & my gratitude has never been adequate. She's loved me anyway.
Thank you, Mom!
Happy birthday.

You are so sweet, but none of that was difficult. I love you and loved doing it. I do have to make one correction. On the maturation thing--I also went with my sister and foster sister two times each and with all eight of you girls both in 5th and 6th grades for a total of 20 times. I had the movied memorized It was never fun but the last few times were actually torturous! But I'd do it again for any of you! I love you! And thanks for breakfast.
I love that idea. How much fun! you are a very fun mom!!
