You know, being a mom is pretty cool. When you're having a crappy day and need to drown your sorrows in calories and cream you also make the day of your too-young-to-understand offspring. This, in turn, brings many smiles to your face and life doesn't seem so awful after all.

So true... your sadness is often woven in their joy. I know I say this and never follow through, but we MUST do something together even if its just painting our toenails while talking about our woes. i'm gonna figure out how to shed my 3 yr old and I'm calling you.
