I planned way ahead for Christmas and decided I was going to make a lot of my gifts this year. It turned out great, except for the fact that I was still madly sewing on the day before Christmas eve. That's ok though, it was worth it. I was surprised by the satisfaction I had when giving these things away. I shouldn't have been, because I know it means more when you're aware of the time and detail that goes into them. Next year I'll just have to start earlier...like next week. :)
Michael wrapped in the rag, t-shirt quilt I made for him. I was over the moon with how this turned out.
Our Christmas pajamas all matched this year and on Christmas eve we painted t-shirts to go with them (a tradition I copied from my sister). You can't see mine here, but we all have a big "W" stenciled on our shirts.
