Sleep

(I miss the days when Mr. E napped & was still in a crib!  It's funny that he still sleeps with a gazillion stuffed animals.)

#22 Sleep

It's hard to imagine life without sleep, mainly because our bodies are not programmed to go, go, go without a chance to refresh and start over.  Although I've been plagued with insomnia off and on for years, I am still grateful for the hours I get to slumber--checking out into a dreamy state of bliss.  I am also grateful for the fresh perspective I gain from sleeping.  I've noticed I can go to bed grumpy and out of sorts but by morning I've forgotten what I was so upset about.  A new day would never be possible without tucking in for the night.
