That is, if you're definition of exciting includes the following:
*Being admitted to the hospital for dehydration.
*Staying at the hospital for approximately 36 hours.
*Eating nothing but liquids for close to 72 hours.
*Watching endless movies and cartoons.
*Having a sleepover with your mom, in the same bed.
*Having a nurse bring you whatever you wanted, all you had to do was push a little button.
*Having your vein collapse in one arm while nurses started an IV.
*Having your first experience with 'a tube in your arm.'
*Taking a wheelchair ride when it was time to check out.
*Learning how cool hospital beds are since they can move up and down while you just sit there.
In other words, Eli had an adventurous weekend & with the exception of the IV it was pretty exciting. Poor thing got a nasty bug that hit him hard and fast. Thursday he started throwing up & by Friday night he was super lethargic and fever-ing. I took him to the after hours clinic and the doctor told us to head straight to the hospital. We're really happy to see his energy returning and back to his normal self. Thank goodness for modern medicine!

I'm glad he's doing okay. I read about the "call button" on your mom's blog. I, too, am very thankful for the miracle of modern medicine! :)
Oh WOW, poor little Eli, and poor you, too. No fun, I'm glad that he is feeling better and everyone is back home in their own beds!
oh no! Poor Eli. Holy cow, that boy has grown so much since the last time i've seen him.
