Best (& Worst) of 2008

I gladly bid adieu to one of the hardest years of my life. But I can't complain too much, we still had plenty of good times and in the end my faith and family is still in tact. Here's to a new year (I've always loved a fresh start). I hope it's full of happy surprises!

Best memories: Vacations to St. George, northern California, southern California, every sister coming home for Christmas, Memorial day weekend in Idaho, running my first half marathon, painting my family room yellow, relaxing on the beach, finding some old friends on facebook & catching up, lil E's 4th birthday party, lots of pedicures and treats with my good friend, 3 days in Disneyland, harvesting lots of vegetables in our garden, getting to know new friends, our first camping trip as a family, relying on my Savior in a way I have never done before, feeling the Christmas spirit deeply this season, hearing my mom would be fine and there was no cancer.

...and the worst: Here's our outtakes of 2008. The pictures that were never worthy of blogging, most for obvious reasons. Others just didn't get shared for one reason or another. Be aware, you may see yourself in the mix.

That was so great! I love Eli's would you rather thoughts. They kind of reminded me of your deep thought questions. :)

Eli's dance is the funniest thing I've ever seen!

That was awesome. My favorite was when you and Eli were making faces on the computer and he got mad and walk away. There you were just continuing on and having fun.
You are so creative.
I wanted to do something like this but was going to use photodex. What program did you use?

I cannot stop laughing! This is the best idea. Along with Moira, I LOVED how you just kept "rockin" out on your computer while Eli walked away mad. Hilarious! Thanks for making my day.

Oh my! You need to sign that kid up for his own stand up show!

Thanks for always putting icing on everything. Even though you had a rough year, you pulled out the positives and made me smile.:)
