Getting closer to our Destination

I took my last birth control pill on Friday night. That means in just a day or two I will start my cycle and go in to see the doctor. He'll start out with a base ultrasound and a trial embryo transfer. This is supposed to be pretty painful; he says I'll need a day of taking it easy to recover. The point is to stretch out my cervix so that when he does the real transfer in a couple of weeks the area will already be stretched and there will be a higher likelihood of the embryos sticking around. I'm all for giving myself all the chances I can so I'll live it up while watching movies on the couch. :)
