Me & my friend Liberti--happy faces and tired feet from sun-up to sun-down

It was a fun-filled, adventure packed, non-stop week. We packed a lot of things in 7 days and thoroughly enjoyed every square foot of the city that we saw.

Day 1 (Wednesday): Empire state building, saw a little bit of the veterans day parade, shopped at H&M, Macy's, ate at shake shack (it's a must--yummy!!), more shopping in the garment district, saw WICKED!!
Day 2 (Thursday): Breakfast at Norma's, Manhattan temple, more shopping, toured the MET, ate at Ray's pizza, saw MARY POPPINS!
Day 3 (Friday): Went to a taping of LIVE! with Regis and Kelly, saw the Christmas spectacular Rockettes show at Radio City Music Hall, top of the Rock, NBC studios tour, the MOMA, Dylan's candy bar & the Apple store.

Day 4 (Saturday): ate at Clinton St. baking co.--the famous blueberry pancakes are worth the hour+ wait, China town, Canal St., shopping at Century 21, Ground Zero memorial, ate at Great NY noodle co.--delicious and so much food for so little cost.
Day 5 (Sunday): attended church at the Abysinnian baptist church in Harlem (really neat place), Guggenheim museum, a stroll through Central park--it was absolutely stunning!, FAO Schwarz, dinner with my friend's nanny family.
Day 6 (Monday): Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, ate at Tartine (...mmm, tasty), wandered through fabric stores in the garment district, walked across Brooklyn bridge.
Day 7 (Tuesday): back to Canal st., ate at the dumpling house (delish!) museum of natural history, Times Square for discount tickets, iphone stolen (grrrrrr!!), time with the NYPD, saw FINIAN'S RAINBOW!
Day 8 (Wednesday): squeezed in a bit more shopping, ate at the shake shack again, packed & headed home.

Seriously, it was a dream come true & certainly a vacation never to be forgotten. A huge (ginormous in fact) thank you to a husband who sent me on my way without a moment's hesitation. He held down the fort and told me to have a good time. I'm confident I fulfilled those orders successfully.
