Little E wants to leave Santa chocolate chip cookies & thank goodness I have the best recipe around. I tested an assortment of chocolate chip cookie recipes (this was a couple years ago) & found this one to exceed the others by far. If you too are interested in leaving Santa only the best--here's the recipe:
Chocolate Chip Cookies
I assure you, Santa will return each year just for these :)2 cubes of butter
1 C. brown sugar
1 C. sugar
1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate chips
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 C. flour
2 1/2 C. baby oatmeal (you may also blend regular oats in the blender, but it's not as good)
Cream butter and sugar, add other ingredients in order. Add flour gradually. Makes about 4 dozen.
Bake on 350 for 10 min. The trick is to take them out of the oven before they look done.

Those look way too good at 6:30 in the morning :-) BTW, I figured out google reader. Thank you!
Those look and sound so good. Thanks for the recipe.:)
Tell little E that the Magleby's really like chocolate chip cookies just as much as Santa!
You're so good that you're going to bake cookies. I just bought that refrigerated dough that I can scoop out and quickly bake. However, I have to admit that your reciepe is making me double think my decesion to not bake cookies.
